Drew's love of photography began in her high school photography class. She picked up her Dad's old Minolta XG7 SLR with the red, white, and blue camera strap and a passion was born. However, it wasn't until her own wedding that she thought of pursuing photography as a career. Drew saw all of the emotions of a wedding day - joy, excitement, love, nervous anticipation- and wanted to capture those moments that could so easily be overlooked. Moments that can't be anticipated or rehearsed and are gone in the blink of an eye. Drew's relaxed approach puts her subjects at ease. Events are shot unobtousively using a photojounalisitc sytle to capture candid moments that reflect the energy of your event. Drew, a 2002 graduate of UCLA, developed her documentary style while working in television production with MTV, VH1, and E! Entertaiment Television. After leaving television to pursue a career in photography, Drew was hired as a freelance photographer by Riviera Magaine, where she photographs Orange County's most exclusive social events. With a strong work ethic, great attitude, and desire to produce work above and beyond her clients expectations, she is fast becoming one of Orange County's most sought after wedding and event photographers.
