You name it, he's done it. As founder and current President of the Disc Jockey Association of Western PA (top wedding professionals who meet monthly since 2002), DJ George is uniquely qualified and proficient with wedding receptions for couples whose ages range anywhere from the twenties on up. DJ George's diverse entertainment background and broad, in-depth knowledge of music is what makes him so trusted and successful at pleasing clients and audiences of all types. He has a knack for energizing an event while still maintaining sensible volumes to allow for socializing. Being a radio personality with weekly music shows on several Pittsburgh stations including WLSW FM 104, DJ George also worked with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and legendary Pittsburgh DJ Porky Chedwick on the air and at weekly dances. As such, he is uniquely qualified for functions that call for an expert in music reaching back to the 40s, such as class reunions. DJ George is also adept with all styles of dance music having played for ballroom dancers, for the Pittsburgh Area Jitterbug Club, and even for shaggers in Myrtle Beach (as a member of the Association of Beach and Shag Club DJs). Some of the local nightclubs that DJ George has played over the years include the Linden Grove, Sports Rock Cafe, Living Room, Baltimore House, Level 20, RE Club, Royal Place, Smokeys, Twin Oaks, Viking, and several American Legions and VFWs. He also plays for a singles dance monthly.
