I've been working as a disc jockey under the alias DJGabeDez for 11 years now. My passion for music has been clear for many years before that, in high school I played in a very competitive drum line for the Port Chester NY Marching band from 1999 - 2003, I played percussion in a jazz band during that time as well. My natural talent and love for the drums lead me into exploring the beats and rhythm of DJ equipment and soon after started working for Clear Media Management/Pollypreen music company performing events such as birthday parties, proms, weddings, art shows, and corporate parties. I have held residencies at clubs and lounges. My favorite gigs every year happen on New Year’s Eve. For the past five years I travel to Manhattan, NY to perform in the heart of New York City for the ball drop. These venues include, Madame Tussauds wax museum, Millennium Premier Hotel penthouse, and Hyatt Centric's rooftop Bar54. I've worked corporate events like Diageo's release party of Jim Beam's "Devils Cut", sushi modeling parties, and for indoor cycling studios such as CycleBar Novato. My demeanor is always one of professionalism and my attention to detail can be heard in every song and sound I play. Having to deal with so many different clients I know the range of expectancy and how little room there is for error. I am very experienced in PA sound systems and their set up, CDj's, turntables with analog or digital mixers as well as the new plug and play controllers of present day. Last but not least I know how to start and keep a party going, keeping the crowd entertained and happy is the most important thing and I love every part of it. I feel if a DJ isn't moved by what they are playing then the crowd can't move either. Let's party
